Il Tunnel of Love Express Tour è stato una tournée intrapresa da Bruce Springsteen nel 1988.
Nello stesso anno, il cantautore prese parte all’iniziativa Human Rights Now! insieme ad altri artisti.
Durante il Tunnel of Love Express Tour, Springsteen rende pubblica la relazione con la corista Patti Scialfa, che diventerà sua moglie nel 1991. Scialfa assumerà un ruolo fondamentale nella vita del cantante, diventando componente fissa della E-Street Band.
Il “Tunnel of love Express Tour” sarebbe stato anche l’ultimo del Boss con il gruppo per un decennio. La E Street Band venne infatti sciolta poco dopo, e riformata alla fine degli anni ’90.
