Per l’ottavo capitolo di “The Live Series” Bruce Springsteen ha pubblicato Stripped Down (disponibile sulle piattaforme di streaming come Amazon, Deezer, iTunes e Spotify), una bellissima raccolta di versioni acustiche registrate durante esibizioni da solo o con la E Street Band. Tra le varie canzoni, Stripped Down contiene “Soul Driver”, eseguita da Bruce durante uno dei due show acustici tenuti nel 1990 allo Shrine Auditorium di Los Angeles per la raccolta fondi a favore della associazione no profit Christic Institute.
